Welcome to the team Zach Smith
Phase 5 is excited to welcome the talent of 19 year old Zach Smith to our family. Zach has only been on the competition scene for a year. However, he has made a huge impact already and has sealed himself as one of the future top pro's. Zach rides both surf and skim style and does them equally well. Earning himself a solid 3rd place in both Outlaw Skim and Outlaw Surf at the 2014 World Wakesurf Championships. He also took home the title of Male Breakout Rider of the Year for 2014. Not to shabby for a first year of competing. We are super stoked to have Zach as part of our P5 family. His riding is awesome, but his personality is even better. Always has time to talk and hang out with anyone who wants to talk. Zach's mom and dad keep him in line and keep him in the water whenever he wants to ride. You will find his dad, Dana pacing the shoreline while Zach is riding. I think he gets more nervous than Zach does! Zach also is a full time student at North Carolina State and shoots photo's for a hobby. Be on the lookout for this guy in 2015. He is on a mission to continue to step up his riding and do it with a big smile on his face! We asked Team Manager Drew Danielo about this addition to the team and here is what he had ton say: "Having Zach Smith as a team rider for us is big on so many levels. The talent this young kid has is incredible for the short time he has been riding. He has a super supportive family and is always there to help whenever you need something. Working with Zach has been a blessing and he supports his sponsors in such a well manor" ZACH SMITH WELCOME TO P5 AND WE CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT 2015 HOLDS FOR YOU.
