Whitley is from Cartersville, GA and surfs on Lake Allatoona. She started competing at age 13 in the Junior Division.
Whitley started off her competitive wakesurf journey by being crowned the 2017 National Champion and has never looked back. Whitley won the Amateur World Championship in 2018 and then won the World Championship again in the Outlaw division the following year. In her first year as a Professional rider, Whitley came in 2nd place at the World Championship and was voted Female Rider of the Year. She is looking forward to pushing herself this year and hopefully taking that top spot on the podium at the World Championship.
